ANALECTA IURIS PONTIFICII. — A publication issued from 1852 to 1891, first in Rome and later in France. Founded by the French prelate Ludovico Chaillot, as a continuation of another periodical, the Correspondance de Rome, and entirely edited by him until his death (June 1891), it dealt with various ecclesiastical matters, particularly canonical ones. The collection, consisting of texts and dissertations, often of considerable scholarly value, comprises 28 series, made up of issues generally published quarterly; it is written in the French language.
An index of the first 24 volumes was published: A. i. p. Table générale des matières des vingt-quatre premiers volumes, Paris 1886.
