ANTONII, PIETRO and GIOVANNI BATTISTA degli. – Pietro, musician, b. in Bologna in 1648, and d. there in 1720. Chapel master in various churches of his city, he wrote masses, psalms, motets, the oratorios S. Rocco and l’Innocenza depressa, as well as various instrumental and organ music.
Giovanni Battista, Pietro’s brother, b. in Bologna in 1660, left notable compositions for organ.
