ARNOLD of REICHERSBERG. - Provost, d. 30 Jan. 1175. He completed his theological studies under the guidance of his brother Gerhoh, whom he succeeded on 29 June 1169 as provost of the monastery of Reichersberg.
He wrote the *Scutum canonicorum regularium* (PL 194, 1489–1528) and the *Apologeticus contra Folmarum*, in which he refutes the heretical theories of Folmar, provost of Triefenstein. The preface and a commentary on this treatise were published by Stewart in the *Sylloge veterum scriptorum* and in PL 194, 1529–38.
