ARNONE di REICHERSBERG. — Provost, died on 30
January 1175. He perfected his theological studies under the direction of his brother Gerhob, whom he succeeded on 29 June 1169 as provost of the convent of Reichersberg.
He wrote the Scutum canonicorum regularium (PL 194, 1489–1528) and the Apologeticus contra Polmarum, in which he refutes the heretical theories of Folmar, provost of Triefenstein. The preface and a commentary on this treatise were published by Stewart, in Sylloge veterum scriptorum, and in PL 194, 1529–38.
