Dirks reviews 25 of his works in French, Flemish, and Latin, among which: Directorium ad iuvandos consolandosque infirmos (Liège 1655); the 2nd ed. (ibid. 1674), revised and expanded under the title Paraclesis infirmorum, is much better: it is d'A.'s finest writing; Traité du bien de la patience chrétienne (3 vols., ibid. 1669 ff.). His principal works of controversy are: Antidote catholique (ibid. 1655); Armamentarium augustinianum adversus haereses quadruplici methodo apparatum et instructum in subtidium tyronum militantis Ecclesiae (ibid. 1664): this is a dogmatic, apologetic, and polemical theology.
