BANDINI (BANDULOVICH), MARCO. – Franciscan archbishop, perhaps of Italian origin, born in Skoplje, Serbia, in an unknown year and died at Bacău in 1650. His fame is closely connected with relations between the Catholic Church and the dissident Church in the seventeenth century. In the Codex Bandinus, B. left a valuable testimony to his apostolic visitation of the dioceses of Moldavia, which took place between 19 October 1647 and 2 March 1648.
