BANDINI (BANDULOVICH), MARCO. – Franciscan archbishop, possibly of Italian origin, born in Skoplje, in Serbia, in an unknown year, and died in Bacău in 1560. His fame is closely tied to the relations between the Catholic Church and the dissident Church in the 17th century. B. left a precious testimony of his apostolic visitation to the dioceses of Moldavia in the *Codex Bandinus*, covering the period from October 19, 1647, to March 2, 1648.
