BELLI, PIETRO PAOLO. – Dominican, architect, b. in Jesi ca. 1727–30, d. in Pesaro on 2 Oct. 1807. He worked on several churches of his Order, including the church of Ancona (1781), the cloister of S. Maria delle Grazie in Macerata, and the new cloister of the church of Pesaro (completed in 1806).
