BELLI, PASQUALE. – Architect, born in Rome on 13 December 1752, died there on 31 October 1833. Pupil and assistant of P. Camporese. Upon the death of R. Stern (1820), he completed the construction of the Braccio Nuovo of the Vatican. After the fire of the basilica of S. Paolo (1823), he supervised its restoration.
