ALBERICO CARLINI. — Franciscan, painter, born in Pescia in 1705, died in 1775. A pupil in his native town of Ottaviano Dandini; in Rome he attended the studio of Sebastiano Conca. Having taken the Franciscan habit and destined for the convent of Pietrasanta, he decorated its church.
He left works in various other churches of his Order, including that of S. Bartolomeo all'Isola in Rome, where in the chapel of S. Francesco he depicted some scenes from the life of the Saint.
