CASTELLI, GIULIO. — Oratorian, born in Turin in 1846, died in a reputation for sanctity at Cava dei Tirreni in 1926. Devoted to the life of piety from childhood, he entered the Congregation of the Oratory of Turin and became a priest in 1869. In 1889 he transferred to the Roman Oratory. Having become rector of the sanctuary of the Madonna del-
l'Olmo at Cava dei Tirreni, in 1896 he founded an oratory there, making it the center of his tireless apostolic activity. He extended his work also into the Abruzzi. The cause of beatification has been opened.
