D'ANGELO, SOSIO. - Canonist, b. at Mondragone (Caserta) on 22 February 1887, d. at Rome on 22 July 1930.

He first devoted himself to the care of souls, then in Rome, where he had obtained his degree in utroque iure, he carried out appreciated activity in the Sacred Congregations and in the faculty of law of S. Apollinare, also promoting, together with other professors, the founding of the journal Apollinaris. Besides various notable studies published in periodicals, among his works mention should be made of: Ius Pandectarum (Rome 1923); Ius Digestorum (I, ibid. 1927; II, Turin 1928).
