JOHANN NEPOMUK DAISENBERGER.— Augustinian canon regular, born at Pölling (Mittelfranken) on 10 February 1752, died at Walleshausen on 14 November 1820. From 1796 to 1803 he was the last provost of Pölling, completing the work begun by his predecessor, a manuscript history of the writers of the Order of Augustinian Canons Regular, now preserved in the State Library of Munich (Scriptores Ord. Can. reg. S. Augustini). After the secularization of the monastery, D. became parish priest at Walleshausen.
