DAISENBERGER, JOHANN NEPOMUK. — Regular canon, born in Pölling (Mittelfranken) on 10 February 1752, died in Walleshausen on 14 November 1820. From 1796 to 1803 he was the last provost of Pölling, and he completed the work begun by his predecessor: the manuscript history of the writers of the Order of the Canons Regular of St. Augustine, now preserved in the State Library of Munich (Scriptores Ord. Can. reg. S. Augu-
stini). After the secularization of the monastery, D. was parish priest in Walleshausen.
