ESTUDIOS

ESTUDIOS. — Monthly Catholic journal of general culture. It was founded in 1933 in Santiago de Chile, with the task of exerting a beneficial influence in the field of higher studies, directing them toward Christian truth and wisdom. Questions concerning religion and philosophy, art and literature, the social and political sciences are treated with great competence in this publication, together with the most interesting problems of current affairs. Its tenacious defense of the rights of the individual against every excessive interference by the power of the State, its explicit condemnation of every form of racism, and its struggle for a more just and more Christian society have made this journal a truly esteemed organ in Chilean cultural circles.
