FIGLIE DEL CALVARIO (Mexico). — Religious institute founded in Mexico City at the initiative of the pious and wealthy young ladies Enrichetta and Ernestina Larrainea in 1885, for the care of the sick and for the Christian instruction and education of youth. It was approved by the Holy See in 1909, and today numbers approximately 200 nuns in 25 houses.
