FOLCO di NEUILLY. – Parish priest of Neuilly-sur-Marne near Paris from 1191; he died at Neuilly on 2 March 1201. In 1198 he founded the abbey of St-Antoine-des-Champs. He was an apostle of warm and persuasive eloquence. He had many disciples who followed him also to England, where he went to speak personally with Richard the Lionheart and to preach the Fourth Crusade in that country as well.
