GIASSO, ANGELO. – Friar Minor of the Observance, in religion Candido da Genova, guardian of the sanctuary of N. S. di Loreto in Oregina, celebrated for the Marian vision he had on 9 December 1746, which immediately preceded Balilla’s act. The vision is described in his sworn testimony submitted at headquarters and before the Senate.
