GREGORIANUM. - A quarterly journal, strictly scholarly, published since 1920 by the professors of the Pontifical Gregorian University, with the collaboration also of other Jesuit professors.
In the field of speculative and positive dogmatic theology it treats the questions best suited to deepening knowledge of Catholic doctrine, and in the field of philosophy it illustrates that perennial philosophy which has its best and clearest exponent in Scholasticism and particularly in St. Thomas Aquinas, without however neglecting the critical study of other systems in order to grasp that part of truth which they may contain. The individual issues contain leading articles, notes and discussions, reviews; occasional bulletins report on the movement of studies in the various theological and philosophical disciplines.
