GREGORIANUM. — A quarterly journal of a strictly scholarly character, published since 1920 by the professors of the Pontifical Gregorian University, with the collaboration of other Jesuit professors as well.
In the field of speculative and positive dogmatic theology, it addresses the questions best suited to deepening knowledge of Catholic doctrine; and in the field of philosophy, it expounds that perennial philosophy whose finest and clearest exponent is Scholasticism, and particularly s. Tommaso d'Aquino, without, however, neglecting the critical study of other systems, in order to discern whatever truth they may contain. The individual issues contain leading articles, notes and discussions, and reviews; occasional bulletins provide information on the development of scholarship in the various theological and philosophical disciplines.
