KLIMKE, FRIEDRICH. – Jesuit and philosopher, born on 18 June 1878 in Golinov, in Upper Silesia; died in Rome on 9 January 1924. He taught the history of philosophy, first at the University of Innsbruck (1918–20), then at the Gregorian University of Rome (1920–24).

Ferro, Florence 1914); Institutiones historiae philosophiae (2 vols., Rome 1932); also Die Hauptprobleme der Weltanschauung (Kempten 1910); Monismus und Pädagogik (2nd ed., Munich 1918); Unsere Schnucht (11th ed., there 1922).
