LEITNER, Martin. – Canonist, b. at Bodenwöhr (Oberpfalz) on 11 March 1862, d. at Passau on 25 Dec. 1929. Professor of canon law at Passau from 1904, he devoted himself zealously also to the administration of ecclesiastical justice. In his study of canon law he followed the dogmatic approach.
