LEITNER, MARTIN. – Canonist, born in Bodenwöhr (Oberpfalz) on 11 March 1862, died in Passau on 25 December 1929. Professor of canon law in Passau from 1904, he also devoted himself zealously to the administration of ecclesiastical justice. In the study of canon law, he followed the dogmatic approach.
