LEITNER, MARTIN. - Canonist, b. at Bodenwöhr (Upper Palatinate) on 11 March 1862, d. at Passau on 25 Dec. 1929. Professor of canon law from 1904 at Passau, he also devoted himself zealously to the administration of ecclesiastical justice. In the study of canon law he followed the dogmatic approach.
