PIRRONI, CARLO GIOVANNI

PIRRONI, Carlo Giovanni. - Born in Campi Salentina (Lecce) on 7 June 1640, died in Rome on 13 April 1685. Founder, together with Fr. Angelo Morelli, of the philosophical studentate in Chieti in 1660, he ensured that the scientific-literary movement which, at the close of the 17th century, gradually spread throughout the Order, took root there.
