RADINI TEDESCHI, CARLO. - Catholic organizer, born in Piacenza in 1829, died there on 23 March 1908. Of a noble family, he preserved and transmitted to his numerous offspring the finest traditions; Giacomo (v.).
He honorably held public offices in Piacenza and earned much distinction in Catholic Action, distinguishing himself especially in the legal defense of the Opere Pie; indeed, for several years he chaired the Section of the Opera dei Congressi cattolici specifically devoted to advocating charitable and religious foundations and bequests, both in judicial proceedings and in administrative litigation, particularly after the promulgation of the sectarian Crispi law of July 1890.
