He entered the Conceptionists in 1911. Having graduated in medicine and surgery from the University of Naples (1931), he served as medical director (from 1932) and superior (from 1941) of the Dermopathic Institute of the Immacolata in Rome.

He mainly wrote medical articles for Cronache dell'IDI (Dermopathic Institute Immacolata), a monthly publication he founded in 1946 (Apostolato medico, 2 [1947], no. 4; Tumori della pelle, 3 [1948], nos. 4-5; L'orticaria, 4 [1949], no. 1). A man of vast culture and particular aptitude for experimentation, he scientifically refined the therapeutic method for dermatopathies inherited from Fr. A. Ludovico Sala (q.v.), supplementing it with new products (Depurativo IDI - Lilial neve, etc.). He focused primarily on the treatment of psoriasis, vitiligo, and others.
