Te Saeculorum Principem

TE SAECULORUM PRINCIPEM. - Hymn of Vespers for the feast of Christ the King, composed by Fr. Vittorio Genovesi, S.J., in 1925.

To the hateful cry of the Jews who did not want Christ to reign over them, the hymn opposes the cry of love and the acclamation of the King of the universe, beseeching him to lead the strayed back to the fold, since he died for all and is present upon the altars to unite himself with his faithful.
