“TE SAECULORUM PRINCIPEM”. - Hymn of Vespers for the feast of Christ the King, composed by Fr. Vittorio Genovesi, S.J., in 1925.
In response to the cry of hatred from the Jews who refused to have Christ reign over them, the hymn opposes a cry of love and acclamation to the King of the universe, entreating Him to bring back the strayed to the fold, since for all He died and is present upon the altars to unite Himself with His faithful.
