ACCURTI, TOMMASO. — Priest and bibliographer, born in Porto San Giorgio (Ascoli Piceno) on 11 November 1862, died in Rome on 20 January 1946. He devoted himself particularly to the study of fifteenth-century editions, in which field he became highly expert; he published two series of corrections and additions to the great Gesamtkatalog der Wegendrucke. He also supervised the considerably enriched reprinting of Wadding-Sbaraglia’s Scriptores trium ordinum s. Francisci. From 1928 onward he worked on the new description of the incunabula collection of the Vatican Library.
