ACCURTI, TOMMASO. - Priest and bibliographer, b. at Porto San Giorgio (Ascoli Piceno), 11 Nov. 1862, d. at Rome, 20 Jan. 1946. He devoted himself particularly to the study of 15th-century editions, in which field he became highly expert; he published two series of corrections and additions to the great Gesamtkatalog der Wiegendrucke. He also supervised the reprint, considerably enriched, of the Scriptores trium ordinum s. Francisci by Wadding-Sbaraglia. From 1928 he worked on the new description of the collection of incunabula in the Vatican Library.
