ANTONIO di VINCENZO. – Architect, born c. 1350 and died between 1401 and 1402. His name is particularly linked to the basilica of S. Petronio in Bologna, whose construction was entrusted to him in 1390 and for which he seems to have drawn inspiration from the Certosa of Pavia. In Bologna he also worked on the Loggia della Mercanzia, in the Palazzo di Re Enzo and in the church of S. Francesco, for which he built the bell tower. In the vicinity of the same city he executed works of civil and military architecture.
