ARNPECK, Veit. - Priest and German historian, b. c. 1440, probably at Freising (Bavaria), and d. probably in 1495. He studied at the University of Vienna; as a priest and parish priest he exercised his ministry at Landshut and at Freising.
He composed several historical works: the Chronica Boica, in Latin and a German version; the Chronicon Austriacum and the Liber de gestis Episcoporum Frisingensium (all edited by G. Leidinger, in Quellen und Erörterungen zur bayerischen und deutschen Geschichte, new series, III, Munich 1915).
