AYMER DE LA CHEVALERIE, HENRIETTE. — Born on 11 April 1767 at St-Georges-de-Noisné (Poitou), she died in Paris on 23 November 1834. She suffered imprisonment during the Terror for having given shelter to priests and, once liberated, abandoned the brilliant and worldly life she had led until then in order to enter the Association of the Sacred Heart. Under the direction of Father P. Coudrin (v.) she founded Congregation of the Sacred Hearts (v.). Her life was marked by a great spirit of mortification. The cause of beatification is in progress.
