AVIAT, FRANÇOIS DE SALES. — Born in Sézanne on 16 September 1844, died in Perugia on 10 January 1914. Educated by the Sisters of the Visitation of Troyes under the guidance of Fr. CHAPPUIS, IÉAN (v.), in 1868 she founded the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales (v.) to assist young working women, and for this work endured many struggles, distinguishing herself through wisdom and prudence.
