BARTOLOMEO di SALICETO. — Celebrated jurist, born in Bologna around 1330, he first taught in his native city and then at the Universities of Padua (1373), Ferrara (1380), and later again in Bologna. He died in his native city on 28 December 1412 and was buried in S. Domenico.
Besides some minor works, he left extensive commentaries on the *Codex* and the *Digestum*, printed in Italy and abroad.
