Bohic (Bohic, Boich, Bouhic), Henri

BOHIC (Bohic, Boich, Bouhic), Henri. - Decretalist, b. in Brittany in 1310, d. ca. 1350. He taught canon law at the University of Paris.

He is the author of Distinctione on the Decretals of Gregory IX, which are deservedly regarded as a work of great juridical expertise (Lyons 1557; Venice 1579); and of a treatise De praesumptionibus (Frankfurt 1498).
