BOHIC (BOHIC, BOICH, BOUHIC), HENRI

BOHIC (BOHIC, BOICH, BOUHIC), HENRI. – Decretalist, born in Brittany in 1310, died around 1350. He taught canon law at the University of Paris.

He is the author of Distinctione on the Decretals of Gregory IX, which are rightly regarded as a work of great legal expertise (Lyons 1557; Venice 1579); and of a treatise De praesumptionibus (Frankfurt 1498).
