BONIFACIO dei VITALINI (Bonifatius de Vitalinis, de Vitellinis, de Vitellinis). - A decretalist of the fourteenth century, native of Mantua. He was a professor of canon law first in Padua, then in Avignon. While serving as apostolic protonotary, he claimed to have also performed the functions of auditor causarum sacri Palatii apostolici (perhaps under Urban V).
