BUSSEREAU, JAKOB FREDRICH. — Born on 2 February 1865 at Oberhambach (Palatinate), died at Herxheim on 2 July 1919. Ordained a priest in 1886, he was chaplain at Herxheim and Germersheim, and parish priest

in the diocese of Augsburg. At Herxheim he founded an institution for the mentally ill, cared for by the Brothers and Sisters of St Paul, whom he founded in 1905.
