Bussereau, Jakob Fredrich

BUSSEREAU, JAKOB FREDRICH. - Born on 2 February 1865 at Oberhambach (Palatinate), died at Herxheim on 2 July 1919. Ordained a priest in 1886, he was a chaplain at Herxheim and at Germersheim, and a parish priest in the diocese of Augsburg. At Herxheim he established an institute for the mentally ill, who are cared for by the Brothers and Sisters of St. Paul, founded by him in 1905.
