CORRADO di PRUSSIA. — In the world C. de Grossis, a Dominican; born perhaps in Bruxelles, but more probably in Prussia, died on 10 March 1426 at Schönensteinbach. In 1388, vicar of the convent of Berne, in 1389, by order of b. Raimondo, he laid the foundations of the regular reform for the friars at Colmar, and in 1397 for the nuns at Schönensteinbach in Alsace. But his undertaking underwent various crises. He achieved the reform in the monasteries of Weyt and Westroye and in the convent of Berne. He was held in high veneration by the Observants of the 15th century.
