COSTANZO da FABRIANO, blessed. — Dominican, born at the beginning of the 15th century at Fabriano to the humble family of Bernardo de Servoli. He spent some time in Bologna, then in Tuscany, collaborating with s. Antonino in the movement for regular reform. He was a lector at S. Marco in Florence; prior at Fabriano (1440–67), Perugia, and Ascoli (1459 and 1470). He attended the Chapter of the Lombard Congregation at Mantua in 1474. A man of profound prayer, he died at Ascoli on 24 February 1481. His cult was confirmed in 1811.
