CRELIER, HENRY-JOSEPH. - Exegete, born at Bure near Porrentruy (diocese of Basel) on 16 Nov. 1866, died as parish priest at Bressancourt on 22 Apr. 1889. He taught philosophy and Hebrew at the college of Porrentruy.
Works: *Les Psaumes traduits sur le texte hébreu avec un commentaire*, I (Paris 1888; incomplete work); *1860* (ibid. 1860); *Le Cantique des Cantiques* (ibid. 1861). In the collection *La Sainte Bible* by Lethielleux he published: *Les Actes des Apôtres* (ibid. 1883); *Exode* (ibid. 1886); *Lévitique* (ibid. 1886); *La Genèse* (ibid. 1889).
