DE NEVO, ALESSANDRO. — Canon lawyer, born in Vicenza, died in the second half of the 15th century. He was a canon of the cathedral of Treviso and, for 26 years, professor of canon law at the Studium of Padua.
He wrote: In I, II, III, et IV libros Decretalium commentaria (Venice 1586); Consilia contra Iudaeos foenerantes (Nuremberg 1479); Additiones et quaestiones ad Gulielmi Duranti Speculum iuris (Frankfurt 1668). He edited the edition of the Decretum Gratiani (Venice 1744).
