DUBOUCHÉ, Théodélinde. — In religion Marie-Thérèse du Coeur de Jésus, born at Montauban (Tarn-et-Garonne) on 2 May 1809, died in Paris on 30 August 1863. Study, nature and art occupied her lively and independent mind; after her mother’s death she retired to a Carmelite convent, from which she emerged when the political events of 1848 led her to devote herself entirely to works of charity and to making reparation for the outrages committed against Our Lord, later founding the Congregation of the Sisters of Adoration and Reparation. Her cause of beatification is now under way.
