DUBOUCHÉ, THÉODELINDE

DUBOUCHÉ, THÉODELINDE. — In religion Marie-Thérèse du Coeur de Jésus, born in Montauban (Tarn-et-Garonne) on 2 May 1809, died in Paris on 30 August 1863. Study, nature, and art engaged her lively and independent intelligence; upon her mother’s death she withdrew to a convent of Carmelites, and, leaving it because of the political events of 1848, devoted herself entirely to works of charity and reparation for the offenses committed against Our Lord, subsequently founding the Congregation of the Sisters of Reparation Adoration. The cause of her beatification is in progress.
