ENRICO di LUBECCA. — Dominican philosopher and theologian, b. in Lubecca ca. 1288, d. after 1336. He was magister theologiae already before 1323, but probably not in Paris (perhaps in Cologne, at the Dominican Studium generale); provincial of the province of Saxony in 1325–36, and its vicar general in 1336. Three Quodlibata by E. are known, disputed in the years 1323–26 (partly edited by F. Mitzka: V. BIBLICA.), dealing with problems of theology, philosophy, physics, astronomy, and medicine.
