JUSTUS OF URGELL. - Flourished around 546, a prominent figure at the Councils of Lerida and Valencia of 546. According to the testimony of St. Isidore, he wrote an Expositio in Cantica Canticorum, a brief and allegorical work in which, from the very first lines, Christ appears personifying the Bridegroom and the Church the Bride.
