GEREMANUS of URGEL. - Flourished around 546, a prominent figure at the Councils of Lerida and Valencia in 546. According to St. Isidore, he wrote an Expositio in Cantica Canticorum, a brief and allegorical work in which, from the very first lines, Christ is presented as the Bridegroom and the Church as the Bride.
