GRAZIANI de GARZADORO, FRANCESCO (de Garzatoribus). – Canonist, born at Torrebelvicino, on an uncertain date. He was doctor iuris at Padua in 1550; he was a canon at Vicenza and died in 1588.
He is known above all for a Compendium iuris canonici, omissis duplicibus et evacuatis a constitutionibus Romanorum pontificum, a Concilio Tridentino, et a Cathechismo nunc primum excusum (Venice 1580), a work highly esteemed in its day for the systematic structure and accuracy of its doctrine and for its use of the new Tridentine sources, alongside those traditionally found in the Corpus iuris canonici.
