INIUNCTIS DE IURE INIUNGENDIS. – A clause customarily appended to rescripts by which dispensations and absolutions are granted. Evidently, its content varies according to the cases in question and the extent of the dispensation or absolution requested. For example, in rescripts by which absolution from a censure is granted, the formula i.d.i.t. means that the censured person must repair the harm and the scandal, if there have been any, and accept a salutary penance in addition to the sacramental one.
