KLAIPĖDA. - Prelature nullius and city in Lithuania. It was created by Pope Pius XI with the apostolic constitution *LITUANORUM GENTE* of 4 Apr. 1926, raising the church of the Most Holy Trinity to the dignity of a prelature; it is a suffragan of Kaunas.
