MAURILIUS, Saint. - Born into a noble family in Milan, died ca. 430. Educated in a monastery, he was ordained by St. Ambrose. On his father's death he went to Gaul to St. Martin, who, after some years of solitary life, urged him to accept the episcopate of Angers, which he held for ca. 30 years.
