Also known as: Olympiodorus the Deacon, Olympiodoros

OLYMPIODORUS. - Deacon of Alexandria, a contemporary of Procopius of Gaza (6th century); he wrote commentaries on the Old Testament, drawing extensively on his predecessors. It appears that he also wrote against Severus of Antioch (v. Anastasius Sinaita: PG 89, 1189). A monograph is lacking.
