PASTOR BONUS. – Journal of the Seminary of Trier, which began publication in 1889 under the direction of P. Einig and A. Müller.
It deals with all the subjects included in theological instruction. In addition to good articles on exegesis, patristics, and theology, it also publishes studies and directives of a pastoral nature. After the Second World War, it changed (1946) its original name to Trierer Theologische Zeitschrift. Given the brief interruptions caused by the war, it is now (1951) in its sixtieth year and is published bimonthly. Its director is Prof. G. Höffner. Angelo Penna
