«QUICUMQUE CHRISTUM QUAERITIS»
- Hymn of Vespers and Matins on the feast of the Transfiguration of Jesus. It consists of four strophes (1, 10, 11, 23) taken from Hymn XII of A. C. Prudentius’ *Cathemerinon*: for the Epiphany of the Lord.
Those who seek Christ must lift their gaze to the heights of Tabor, where the Redeemer appeared in His divinity before three disciples and revealed Himself as the King of the new Israel, the world’s redeeming Messiah. To Him, whom the Father calls His Son, we must obey and in Him believe.
