«QUICUMQUE CHRISTUM QUAERITIS». – Hymn of Vespers and Matins on the feast of the Transfiguration of Jesus. It consists of four stanzas (1, 10, 11, 23) taken from hymn XII of the Cathemerinon of A. C. Prudenzio: in Epiphania Domini.
Those who seek Christ must raise their gaze upward, to Tabor, where the Redeemer appeared in his divinity in the presence of three disciples and revealed himself as the king of the new Israele, the Messiah who redeems the world. To him, whom the Father calls his Son, we must obey and in him believe.
