«REGALI SOLIO FORTIS HIBERIAE». — Hymn of Vespers and Matins for the feast of s. Ermenegildo, martyr, written by Urbano VIII when in 1636 he extended the Saint’s feast to the universal Church, after it had already been granted to Spain by Sisto V. martyr, his struggle against the passions, his courage in the face of seductions, and his heroism in death.
