REVUE OF ASCETICISM AND OF MYSTICISM. - A bimonthly journal, founded in Toulouse in 1920 by Fr. J. de Guibert, with the aim of studying spirituality scientifically in all its aspects.
It aims, therefore, to develop theological speculation on the subject; it deals with historical questions concerning persons, the various currents, and ascetical texts; it offers unpublished documentation, and takes an interest in general and special psychology, especially religious psychology. The issues also contain a special chronicle of news on scientific and practical progress and the various orientations of ascetics and mysticism, adding a bibliographical bulletin of ascetical and mystical works and studies, published separately or in periodicals.
