REVUE DE L'HISTOIRE DES RELIGIONS. — Founded in Paris by M. Vernes in 1880 and subsequently directed by J. Reville, and now by R. Dussaud together with E. Dhorne and H. Ch. Puech.
It is published quarterly and carries original articles, reviews, and news relating to the subject, as well as critical bulletins on the various religions.
Its approach is purely historical, excluding any writing of a polemical or dogmatic character. Initially launched by the publisher E. Leroux, it is now published by the Presses Universitaires de France. The most distinguished specialists in the field have contributed and continue to contribute to II.
