REVUE OF THE HISTORY OF RELIGIONS. - Founded in Paris by M. Vernes in 1880 and subsequently directed by J. Réville and now by R. Dussaud with E. Dhorme and H. Ch. Puech.
It is published quarterly and contains original articles, reviews and news items relating to the subject, as well as critical bulletins on the various religions.
Its approach is purely historical, to the exclusion of any writing of a polemical or dogmatic character. Originally launched by the publisher E. Leroux, it is now published by the Presses Universitaires de France. The best-known specialists in the field have collaborated and continue to collaborate with it.
