REVUE DE L'ORIENT CHRÉTIEN. – A scholarly journal covering questions concerning the Christian East, which began in Paris in 1896 as a quarterly “Supplement” to the R. d. l'O. C., intended for a general readership.
From the outset, distinguished Orientalists contributed to it, among them Carra de Vaux, Chabot, Graffin, Nau, and Scheil. The journal’s periodicity was not always consistent, especially during the years of the world wars. The latest issue published (1946) concludes vol. XXX and the 3rd series.
