REVUE OF PHILOSOPHY. - Periodical founded in Paris by the Marist Father E. Peillaube, to promote philosophical studies anchored in the philosophy of St. Thomas, but enriched by whatever modern conquests in all fields of the sciences, especially the psychological, can contribute in the way of clarifying elements.
With this, the aim was to make the periodical one of the great philosophical organs, by which Catholic philosophy might acquire the right of citizenship in the intellectual world and gain a foothold in circles that until then had been resistant. Upon the death of the founder, the publication was taken up again and reorganized by the professors of philosophy of the Catholic Institute of Paris.
