REVUE DE PHILOSOPHIE. – Periodical founded in Paris by the Marist Father E. Peillaube, to promote philosophical studies rooted in the philosophy of St. Tommaso, but enriched by whatever modern achievements in all fields of the sciences, especially the psychological sciences, could contribute as clarifying elements.
The aim was to make the periodical one of the great philosophical organs through which Catholic philosophy could gain the right of citizenship in the intellectual world and penetrate circles that had until then been unreceptive. Upon the founder’s death, publication was taken up and reorganized by the philosophy professors of the Catholic Institute of Paris.
