REVUE DE PHILOSOPHIE

REVIEW OF PHILOSOPHY. - Periodical founded in Paris by the Marist Fr. E. Peillaube to promote philosophical studies grounded in the philosophy of St. Thomas, but enriched by whatever modern achievements in all fields of science, especially psychological, can contribute in clarifying elements.

With this aim, the periodical sought to become one of the major philosophical organs, enabling Catholic philosophy to gain a rightful place in the intellectual world and to penetrate environments hitherto resistant. Upon the founder’s death, the publication was resumed and reorganized by the professors of philosophy at the Catholic Institute of Paris.
